Swap is a term used to describe the exchange of cryptocurrencies from one form to another. Cryptocurrency holders can “swap” using Decentralized Exchanges (DEX) and Centralized Exchanges (CEX), as well as Automated Market Makers (AMM).
The term ‘Swap can also refer to derivates of the AMM UniSwap such as PancakeSwap, QuickSwap or any number of yield farms which are simple clones of the above or theirdescendants (e.g. “its a new ‘Swap” would refer to a new farm forked from this family).
