Interacting and investing in many different DeFi protocols is not as easy as it may seem. Investors are always at the risk of impermanent loss and many can’t keep track of all investments, due to the variety of available chains and investment opportunities in DeFi.
APY Vision is a simple dashboard that aims to solve a lot of these problems with an easy-to-use tracking tool that helps users keep track of their liquidity positions and farming rewards.
What Is APY Vision? #
As mentioned, APY Vision is a DeFi dashboard that allows investors to easily keep track of their investments and farming rewards. The basic plan for APY Vision users covers only a handful of liquidity pools and AMMs. More advanced features like tracking impermanent loss on your cross-chain investments will require having some Vision tokens to pay for the PRO version of this service.
Free users will have access to only a handful of features and accessing the ones included in the PRO version can also be free if you are holding an appropriate amount of Vision tokens. At current rates, you will need 1 Vision token for every $100 tracked.
How To Use APY Vision? #
Interacting with APY Vision is no different than with any other DeFi dashboard. Go to the homepage, connect your wallet and the dashboard will load shortly.
If you have enough Vision tokens, select the “Login as PRO” option.
As we already mentioned, free users will have only a few options unlocked and these include very limited portfolio tracking and LP statistics for many well-known AMMs in DeFi like Uniswap and Quickswap. To get access to this feature simply select “Find Pools” and look for the ones that you are interested in.
This feature gives you all of the main statistics for specific pools. You can easily calculate yearly, monthly, or daily returns by using the data provided by APY Vision. Pro users will have even more insight.
Tracking net gain/loss is only available with the PRO version of the dashboard and can be very useful for long-term liquidity providers. Without proper tracking tools investors can lose sight of their realistic profit/loss margins.
Apart from portfolio tracking, both free and PRO users will have access to a list of DeFi bridges including all relevant information such as transfer fees, waiting time and available networks.
Finally, APY Vision provides detailed network status for almost all major L1 blockchains. This feature can be accessed by clicking on the “status” tab.
APY Vision is a very detailed DeFi tool catering to active investors and farmers. Tracking your liquidity positions on automated market makers is a complex process and without the right tooling investors can sometimes be unsure if they made a profit or a loss on their LP.
DeFi dashboards like APY Vision can surely help solve a lot of these problems with the only downside being that the most valuable data will require a PRO membership. Without enough Vision tokens in your wallet, profit and loss margins may still be unclear for many users.
