How to Bridge USDC From BSC to Avalanche Using the Xpollinate Bridge

Even though there seems to be a variety of bridges blockchain users can choose from, it seems that not all of them can offer a clear interface and a friendly UX. But, if you use xPollinate once you will realize that the developers behind it are aware of the issues mentioned above.

Connect Your Wallet #

Just like with all other protocols, before you can use xPollinate you will need to connect your wallet. This can be done by clicking on the “Connect Wallet” button in the top right corner.

Once that is done you will need to set up the bridging route.

Since we are sending from BSC to Avalanche your parameters should look like this:

From: BSC

To: Avalanche

Select USD as your Desired currency and specify how much you want to send.

Bridging The Funds #

If everything is set up correctly you will be able to click on the “Swap” button. Keep in mind that the displayed transaction fee includes both the bridge fee and the transaction fee. This means that there will be no need to claim the tokens on the other side since the bridge already does this for you.

When you initiate the swap you will need to approve the token transfer and pay the gas fee in BNB. Once that transaction is confirmed the bridge will automatically transfer the funds and send them to your wallet.

When the process is finished you will need to sign one more transaction before the USDC is claimed. This only requires a signature and there are no gas fees included.

Waiting times can vary depending on the congestion of the blockchains you are interacting with. In general the bridging process should never take more than 5 minutes.

Conclusión #

xPollinate is a very simple and elegant solution for moving your funds from one blockchain to another. It is almost a one-click protocol that is very simple to navigate and understand, even if you are a complete beginner.

Supported networks include: xDai, BSC, Matic, Fantom, ETH Mainnet, Avalanche and Arbitrum One.

In case you run into any issues during the bridging process, you can click on the “Support” button and it will lead you directly to their Discord server.
