In this How-To post, we will show you how to connect your MetaMask wallet to the OKExChain Network. It will only take you a few minutes to get everything up and running.
Open your web browser and click the MetaMask extension in the top right corner.
Click on the logo of your MetaMask account in the top right corner of your MetaMask window. Then click on ‘Settings’.
Click ‘Network’ in the settings menu. A list will appear that contains all the networks that your MetaMask wallet can connect to. Click on ‘Add Network’ at the bottom of the networks window.
A new window will appear. MetaMask will ask you to enter the details of the new network. You will need the following data: Network Name, New RPC, ChainID, Symbol and Block Explorer. To add the OKExChain network, enter the network details below:
• Network Name: OKExChain• New RPC URL: https://exchainrpc.okex.org• ChainID: 66• Symbol: OKT• Block Explorer URL: https://www.oklink.com/okexchain/
Remember that all transactions on the OKExChain blockchain are paid with OKT (OKT).
Before you can use OKExChain’s DApps, you must connect your MetaMask wallet to the OKExChain network. You can do so by clicking on the current network in the top right of your MetaMask wallet. Then click on OKExChain Network.
Congratulations, you have successfully connected your MetaMask to the OKExChain network! Interested in the farming possibilities on OKExChain? Check them out on our website rugdoc.io.
I appreciate the explanation, but now that my Metamask is connected to OKX … how can I do staking? Even tho my coins are in the wallet and it’s shown in the exchange whenever I try to subscribe to a stake it says balance 0…
Which exchange are you referring to? Please elaborate so I can take a look.
