How to Check for the Maximum Withdrawal and Deposit Fees of a Farm (Fantom)

In this guide, we will show you how to verify the maximum deposit and withdrawal fees of a farm on the Fantom Network.

Step 1. Find the MasterChef contract #

First, you need to find the farm’s MasterChef contract address. You can do this by visiting our website rugdoc.io or checking the docs page of the farm’s website.  You can follow this guide if you have trouble finding the MasterChef contract address. In this guide, we will use Kavian Fantom’s MasterChef Contract

Step 2. Open the MasterChef Contract #

Once you found the MasterChef contract address, open the Fantom blockchain explorer and paste the MasterChef contract address in the search bar.

Step 3. Read the MasterChef contract #

Open the MasterChef contract, click on “Contract” and then “Read Contract”.

Scroll through the contract until you find the “poolInfo” section. Fill in the Pool ID in the “poolInfo” section. The deposit fee of the pool used in this example is 400 BP, which is equal to 4%.

Step 4. Find the maximum deposit and withdrawal fee of the farm #

If you want to know the maximum deposit fee or withdrawal fee of the complete farm is, you can click on the “Code” button,

Scroll down until you see the “Contract Source Code” section. Click inside the code window and press Ctrl+F to open the search box.

Search “fee”, “depositfee”, “withdrawfee” or “CP” and press enter to go through the contract until you find a line that has a value, either in BP or %. In this case the withdrawal fee is 400BP.

Great! Now, you should known how to found the fees of a specific pool of a farm and the maximum fees of the complete farm!
